GARY WELLS APPOINTED MANAGING DIRECTOR OF MEI
The Board of Murray & Roberts Limited has decided to merge MRES
with the remaining business of Murray & Roberts MEI, including the
structural and mechanical erection contracts for the Medupi and
Kusile power stations, where the two companies are already in joint
venture. This integration process will be led by Executive Director
Sean Flanagan and includes the appointment of Gary Wells who will be
appointed managing director of MEI with effect from 1 July 2009 and
the newly merged company as soon as the process has been finalised.

TRADING STATEMENT
As required by paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings
Requirements, shareholders are advised that diluted headline
earnings per share for the six months to 31 December 2008
(“Half-Year”) is expected to show an increase of between 35% and 40%
over the 216 cents recorded in the previous comparable period and
diluted earnings per share for the Half-Year is expected to show an
increase of between 30% and 35% over the 230 cents recorded in the
same period.
